ENERGY FOR THE COUNTRYSIDE


From 25 January 2023 to 15 December 2023, applications may be submitted for co-financing under the priority program "Energy for the countryside" for the following types of investments:
1. in the case of investments carried out by a farmer, construction of one of the following renewable energy source installations with an electrical capacity of more than 50 kW and not more than 1 MW:
  • photovoltaic installations (excluding investments on agricultural land
  • constituting agricultural land of class I-IV - within the meaning of the regulations issued on the basis of art. 26 sec. 1 of the Act of May 17, 1989 - Geodetic and cartographic law (i.e. Journal of Laws 2021, item 1990, as amended))
  • wind installations (excluding investments on agricultural land constituting class I-IV agricultural land - within the meaning of the provisions issued on the basis of Article 26(1) of the Act of May 17, 1989 - Geodetic and cartographic law (i.e. Journal of Laws 2021 item .1990, as amended))
2. in the case of investments carried out by a farmer, the construction of one of the following renewable energy source installations with an electric power of more than 10 kW and not more than 1 MW:

  • hydro power plants,
  • installations for generating energy from agricultural biogas in the conditions of high-efficiency cogeneration with an electric power of more than 10 kW and not more than 1 MW and a thermal power of more than 30 kW and not more than 3 MW
3. in the case of investments carried out by an energy cooperative or its member or an emerging energy cooperative, construction of one of the following renewable energy source installations with an electrical capacity above 10 kW and not more than 10 MW:

  • photovoltaic installations (excluding investments on agricultural land constituting class I-IV agricultural land - within the meaning of the regulations issued on the basis of Article 26(1) of the Act of May 17, 1989 - Geodetic and cartographic law)
  • wind installations (excluding investments on agricultural land constituting class I-IV agricultural land - within the meaning of the provisions issued on the basis of Article 26(1) of the Act of May 17, 1989 - Geodetic and cartographic law),
  • hydro power plants,
  • installations for generating energy from biogas or agricultural biogas in the conditions of high-efficiency cogeneration with an electrical capacity of more than 10 kW, not more than 10 MW, and a thermal capacity of more than 30 kW and not more than 30 MW.
4. energy storage, provided that it is integrated with the source implemented as part of one of the above investments


Beneficiaries:

  • energy cooperative, within the meaning of the Act of February 20, 2015 - Act on Renewable Energy Sources (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 1378, as amended) or its member, who is an entrepreneur,
  • an emerging energy cooperative within the meaning of the Act of September 16, 1982 - Cooperative Law (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 648, as amended) or the Act of October 4, 2018 on farmers' cooperatives (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 2073, as amended),
  • farmer - a natural person, an organizational unit without legal personality and a legal person who, as part of agricultural activity conducted for at least 12 months, conducts:
  • a farm within the meaning of the agricultural tax regulations, located within a homestead development within the meaning of the regulations on the protection of agricultural and forest land, or
  • special branch of agricultural production.

In the case of a natural person, when the RES installation will be used to conduct business activity in the field of energy production from renewable energy sources, the beneficiary of the program may be a farmer with a given activity registered.


Co-financing will be provided in the form of loans and grants.
